A quick thankyou

While I was sleeping, around 12 hours ago as at the time of writing, Trollhattan had it’s 10,000th hit.  That’s 10,000 hits in 7 or 8 weeks and 90% of those would be in the last 5 weeks or so.  To me, that’s huge.

A very big thankyou to everyone for dropping by.  To those that have commented, thank you again.  Discussion is the key to understanding, so your contribution is always highly valued.  If you’ve visited from a bulletin board, make sure you support that service by commenting there and being part of that community.

Please leave any suggestions in comments as I’ll always be trying to make this service more relevant and valuable as a resource for Saab enthusiasts.

It’s Friday afternoon here – have a great weekend everyone.

  1. Just found this blog a week or two ago and think it’s fantastic and a great idea. I added it to my RSS reader and check it daily (or more). Keep up the good work!

  2. Hi,

Good to hear this. I keep wondering how many folks feel like you do. We own two Saabs (9-3, 900) and would like to buy another,,, but I am not sure if there will be a SAAB worth having… I would like a 900/9000 hybrid hatchback.

If they stick to the SUV, the brand will be meaningless.

I attended an auto show in Kansas City, MO and talked with the a guy who claimed to be the district rep for Saab. I shared my concerns and my hopes with him (similar to yours). His response, “We have already lost the die hard SAAB people. We are building great cars for more people.” What a shame.

  4. Thanks for dropping in folks and for your kind words. 9x, I’d be more than happy for Jay to follow up on your thoughts – I couldn’t imagine a better job.

  5. Swade, I thank you for this valuable resource, I love getting my daily Saab fix and especially like your insights and postings about Saab’s future.

I think you should start up a deal with GM to give away free Saab gear to your lawyer readers ;).

  6. I think they lost the hard core Saab people the day GM purchased them. Those people are so hard core on Saab automobile, that they failed to recognize that the company, as a whole, has been through LOTS, so good riddance to them. I don’t want Saab to become Chevrolet, but the current 9-3 and 9-5 are fantastic machines.
