What’s a Saab guy like me got to thank GM for at the moment? Well, survival I guess, for starters. With that comes hope. And then there’s the openness of Bob Lutz’s Fastlane weblog, which is still open for business despite his move to head up GM’s global product development unit.
If you haven’t been tuning in, Bob’s blog is a great forum for not only hearing him address some issues that get twisted in the press a little, but it’s also a great place to read comments from GM customers. People just like you and me. And many of these people end up visiting other blogs, like Trollhattan, from links on Bob’s blog. This enables them to hear other perspectives on GM stories of interest. By coming here, for example, GM people are able to see a Saab perspective and maybe start thinking about some issues etc that they may not have otherwise attended to.
Blogs are all about promoting some interest and discussion. Industrial/Corporate blogging is still a practice in it’s infancy but Bob is already reaping valuable feedback. Congratulations to him.
And if you’re visiting here from Fastlane, welcome. Take a look around. It’s all Saab all the time. Categories and links are on your right. There’s plenty here to read so sit back and learn a thing or two about the Swedes.
