The fact that I have a 9-5 category here tells me that this isn’t my first 9-5 posting on the website, however I can’t remember what the last one was, so they must be few and far between. Maybe it was the Hirsch article?
Anyway, Cheshire Online has a nice little review of the 9-5. Funny time to review it, given that it’s just about to get its facelift unveiled in a few months. But there’s no such thing as bad publicity – right?
WHAT’S HOT: Distinguished looks, superb pace and roadholding, sensible layout. WHAT’S NOT: Understated styling will not appeal to everyone.
MAIN RIVALS: Audi A6, BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Volvo S80.
HE SAYS: The Saab really has the lot; it’s quick, spacious, solidly built and a joy to drive – a distinguished motor in every department.
SHE SAYS: While the 9-5 isn’t really a woman’s car, it’s definitely swift, secure and stylish – and viewed from the front it’s one of the most attractive lookers around.
