Hopefully I’ll be taking one of these little beauties for a test drive myself on the weekend. We have a show-n-shine type event on here in Hobart and our local Saab dealer (Tony at Motors Saab) suggested I take a new car along to show amongst the old classics we’ll have there. Oh poor me!
Between now and then, I’ll be reading the Carpages review of the 9-3 Convertible so I can compare notes.
The Brits have really taken to Saabs in the last 12-18 months, with sales setting all-time records for the brand in 2005. You can see the enthusiasm shine through in this review, where they award the car top marks in several categories and score it very well in all the rest.
The Saab 9-3 Convertible is a desirable open top car that features touches of innovative engineering combined with class leading safety. Both the performance and fuel economy are excellent and the handling is superb making it a very enjoyable and natural car to drive.
The five star EuroNCAP rating makes the Saab 9-3 Convertible appealing to both families and the safety conscious without losing any of the thrill of open-top motoring.
In our opinion the Saab 9-3 Convertible is the thinking persons choice of convertible car.
Despite being just such a thinking person myself, I don’t think I could have said it better.
