9-7x vs X3

I’d like to thank Edusaab for finding this video and posting it over at Saab Central.  I’m posting it without having watched it (I’m laid up with an injured back at home, where the 56mb download is a bit too scary for my old dialup connection) but it looks like it could be a bit of fun.

It’s from Hungary, so don’t expect to understand too much of what they’re saying, but from the screenshot it looks like they’re giving these two vehicles a bit of a run through some rough stuff.

The entry page to watch the video is here at Totalcar

Entries will be light today due to the sore back, but should resume as normal in the next day or so.  In the meantime, your 9-5 thoughts are always welcome in the posts below.

A quick click on the Saab link on the right-hand side of the TotalCar page shows that they have other Saab videos on there as well.  Can’t wait to see the old Saab 96 video, which is previewed with this screenshot:

  1. its bloody interesting despite the fact that I can’t understand a word they’re saying.

Wonder why they chose an X3? Surely the X5 4.4 would have been the obvious choice? Perhaps thats what Beemer supplied.

  2. Couldn’t understand a word except for Saab and Trailblazer, but it was a real hoot to see them poke fun at the badge-engineering. After showing a Trailblazer, they showed in succession, a Saab-badged wheelbarrow, skateboard, bikini-clad brunette(?), PC mouse, VW Rabbit with Saab grill (could be wrong), baby stroller, washing machine (complete with 3-port control panel), and old wild-west horse-drawn wagon.

  3. a x3 diesel vis a 9-7x 4.2l gasoline??? this is not okay.
but we can see 12,3 liter (x3) vis 22,3 liter (9-7x).
Oh my god!!!! Okay, i love my 9-3 TiD (between 5,5-7,5 liter)
