UK Sales Data – March 2006

When I was trying to forecast the Saab sales numbers for 2006 earlier today (klicka har), I didn’t have the UK figures for March. I had to take an educated guess based on the Saab press release about the 1Q records that were set this year. As I took my educated guess, I was rather surprised by the size of it. No need.

What a sensational month once again for Saab in the UK. There were 5,281 units sold in March 2006, a whopping 23.82% more than March 2005, which was Saab’s biggest month in 2005 by a street.

That gives Saab UK a total of 7,766 unit sales in the first quarter, a 17.61% increase in 1Q in 2005.

The good news just keeps on coming……

Congratulations Saab UK!!!

  1. 7,766 units registered is slightly off Saab UK’s 32K target for this year.
Saab are looking at trying to increase registrations (Sorry Sales) by 25% over 2005.
BTW there are probably some very cheap Pre-Registered cars on UK forecourts this month.
So If you’re in the UK you should snap one up before they are all gone
and you’ll have pay the normal premium for a New unregistered Saab.
