SOTW – September 5

Today’s Saab O The Week photo is pretty special in my eyes.

Perhaps the car could have been set off a little better, but it’s the total package that sets this one apart. I’ve got a DSLR on my list for future purchases and there’s no way I won’t get one some day.

This one ain’t digital, however. It’s a rare 2006 photo taken on a film camera using Kodak Tri-X, the warmest black and white film around. Drink it in.

The car is a 1992 Saab 900 T16S and it belongs to Martin in Prague.

The internet truly is a wonderful thing, ain’t it? Thanks for sharing, Martin.

  1. That’s not black and white film, Prague’s really that color!!! 😉

Just kidding. I’ve never even been to Prague, but I couldn’t resist.

Beautiful picture though. I know everyone says that digital is making film obsolete, but I still think film produces better results. I guess it’s all in who’s taking the picture, right?

Nice picture AND car, Martin. It’s not often we see the 5-door here in the States. I used to have a 4-door 900T (1981) but I missed the utility of the hatch!
