2006 Saab 9-5 Videos

Many of you would have seen these already via Saab websites for the new 9-5, but they’re now available via Google Video and too good not to post.

In this first video, engineer Tomas Ostlund talks a little about setting up the tweaked chassis for the 2006 Saab 9-5.

In the second video, we hear from Simon Padian about the (controversial) design of the 2006 Saab 9-5.

Notable lines: “I guess not everybody’s going to be pleased with it. But then again, we didn’t set out to please everybody” and “In the future you can expect to see Saabs that are more aggressive, stronger and more distinctive in their design”.

Bring it on.

  1. I’ve also found the videos on Oceanic Cable’s (Hawaii’s cable tv provider) Free-on-Demand channel under Saab’s portion of the “GM Showroom.” There are a few more in the Driver TV area of the same channel.

  2. WillyD,

Mmmmmmm. Hawaii. My inlaws have just arrived in Aust from Vancouver having flown through Honolulu. I’m hoping to do the same in around a year’s time.

Good tip on the cable TV. Never knew they did that sort of stuff. I hope they’re showing the new 2007 Scandinavia/BioPower film clip on there.
