I don’t normally enjoy handing over large sums of money to other people, but today it was a pleasure.
My airfare from Melbourne to Stockholm is now paid in full!
I still have to book my domestic fares between Hobart and Melbourne and arrange my travel insurance, but the big bite has been taken, chewed and swallowed. Thanks again to all of you who helped make this a possibility.
I’m going to arrive in Trollhattan about 3 or 4 days before the Festival begins, so any suggestions for must-see attractions of a Saaby nature are welcome. I’m already planning for a museum tour and a factory tour, but I want to cover as much as possible while I’m there.
Are any of the noted Saab tuners located there?
(I know what you’re going to say: “research it yourself, you lazy ass!”)
All advice welcome in comments.
A couple of Saab-driver tragedies in the news today.
Someone was killed when their early vintage Rose Quartz Saab 9000 crashed head-on into a truck in Billings, Montana. Always terrible when something like that happens and I hope it’s no-one we know through the various Saab forums.
In a second incident, some idiot in a Saab injured a 23 year-old woman whilst driving under the influence. DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!
Again, I hope it’s not someone we know.
The Saab 9-3 BioPower Hybrid Convertible will be a star attraction at the inaugural Sexy Green Car Show, to be held in Cornwall from March 30th to April 15th.
Saab will also have other BioPower models there to highlight their unique status as the only manufacturer in the UK that offers all models with a BioPower option.
April will be the month of Saab 9000 love.
Bjoern has updated his Aero-X super gallery with a handful of ‘undercover’ images. They include more detail on the switchgear in the trunk section and the fuses in the centre console.
A tweaked version of the switchgear shot appears below.
