Site Stats – March 2007

I’ve taken to publishing these monthly site stats just to let the powers that be in GM and Saab know that there’s a market out there for this whole blogging thing.

March saw a fall in daily page loads and individuals served when compared with the previous month, most likely due to the huge interest in the 2008 9-3 spypics that were shown in February, as well as all the Geneva Motor Show news that broke prior to the show actually opening. March was, by comparison, fairly news-free.

This month the site served up 201,500 pages during March, which averaged out to 6,500 pages per day to around 4,000 individuals per day.

I’ve also been asked to show a little geographical data.

These are cities with ‘large’ numbers of visits only, the map extracted from Google Analytics.

  1. I commend you for your impact on the Saabistas everywhere. Check that map — you’re 100% certifiably global. Keep up the great work.

Just think of the page loads that you’ll have during and after the Saab extravaganza in Sweden!

By the way… you are going to post from Sweden, aren’t you? Notebook in hand?

  2. Absolutely, Eggs. There’ll be a few minutes a day when I’m not videoing, writing, interviewing and photographing. In those times I’ll eat and sleep.

Swade, there is one thing that will make me feel better if I don’t make it to Sweden, and that is the fact that you will be there. I know that, through your blog, I’ll feel like I’m actually there. šŸ™‚

  6. Danni, you live there you’re asking ME where Namibia is???

The map only shows cities where there’s a large number of hits for the month. I don’t know how they define large, though.
