More of those “Whoa Mama!” Hirsches

I showed a grainy PDF snapshot of the 2008 Saab 9-3 as modified by Hirsch earlier, and the guys at Hirsch have been kind enough to mail through a couple of clearer shots.

I’ve resized them to 500px, but the full versions are available at the associated links.

First up, that 2008 Saab 9-3 with Hirsch’s 19 inch, 3 spoke rims and I’d assume their sports suspension as well.

In the corner of the original shot that I showed, there was the edge of a Saab 9-5 SportCombi as well. They sent through a clearer shot of that, too.

Nice. Very nice. Note the dual exhausts out the back.

I’m curious, though, as to what the extra badge is next to the 9-5 badge. Click the link for the enlarged version.

WHOA MAMA!!

Remember, whilst performance enhancements from Hirsch aren’t available though Saab in some markets, like North America, there are some Hirsch components available through Elkparts and John will ship them just about anywhere. The three-spoke wheels on that 9-3, for example, are available. Some of the suspension stuff, too.

  1. Mama, those looks good! The three-spokes seemed kinda odd on the black ‘vert, but on the snow silver sedan they look simply amazing.

So let me hear you all: Whoa Mama! 😀

  2. I just visited the hirsch website… imagine having the Turbo X output increased to ~ 300HP… according to Saab the 280HP accelerate you in 5,7 from 0-100 KM at 400nm torque – this is 0,1 less than a current Audi S4 V8 with 344HP [!!] takes to accomplish the same – if Hirsch boosts up the engine, our once “little machine” will be real burner with a significantly lower price tag!
