Saab Parts Going Cheap – the SDCC sale

This video was shot during my time in Sweden for the Saab Festival back in June 2007.

The SDCC sale is a huge affair, with heaps of new-old stock going for absolute peanuts. Wood or carbon fibre dashboard kits for SEK400. Gearboxes, engines, panels, scale models, clothing, books… name it.

It’s one of the many reasons you should head over for Saab Festival when it’s on again in 2009.

  1. Absolutely spewing after watching that one! Damn, damn, damn!

If there’s even half that much on offer in 2009, I’ll be there!

  2. That would be so cool to get my hands on a few of those older fully dressed engines and gear-boxes… Those would be great for teaching/demonstration. Plus it gives the students appreciation/awareness for the Saab brand like you would not believe. I have gotten more mileage (no pun intended) out of the ’06 Turbo V6 I have on a stand than I would have ever imagined as it sits front and center in my engine class.

Oh – love the accent Swade. Let me know if you ever want to stop in and be a guest speaker…

  3. Viggen interiors?!?!?!?!?!?! I could have a whole spare interior for my viggen?!?!?!?!??!!?

I have already bought my ticket; there will be a Canadian joining you in ’09 swade.

  4. OMG. I had to pay like $150 for a used windows for my 900 convertible. I had to have it shipped to me since I couldn’t find one local. >=|

That’s it! I’m moving to Sweden!
